Or even in Denver.

I'm thinking about getting into it but I don't have any first hand experience.

I've already been to the RMSII website & read through just about everything, but still.....it would help to hook up with somebody who does it on a regular basis.

Would anybody running auto-x in the Springs or Denver be willing to show me the ropes? Allow me to ride shotgun for an event so's to get the hang of things?

If you want to ride and sheck things out, just show up to an event and start talking to people. They are generally eager to talk to you and give you a ride.

Werd.

When I finished reading the starters guide on RMSII, I clicked on the schedule and saw that they actually have an AutoX school.

I might just attend that & see how it goes. Nobody wants to look like an A$$ on the track!

everybody look like an ass on the track. me i have done it for three seasons and still get lost in the sea of cones. but yeah everybody there is nice, not like other places. i am more then happy to give rides, its not like i'm competing for 1st place so if your ever there and want a ride, just ask. although i do drift the whole track and not really care for times, i do still have good time even though my car is slow.

Right on. There's one coming up in May down at PPIR I think.

I'll prolly take a day off work and show up for that one to see how things work.
