Go with an LS and boost it. I wanted to put a GSR and boost in my CRX, but everyone told be that is was better to go with an LS if I'm going to go with boost. If you go NA then go with the GSR.

I love my GSR. Thinking that it would be enough NA, well it wasn't. Go LS and boost it. Its cheaper that route too! A lot Cheaper!

That's because once you go with forced induction, especially at this altitude, you'll realize that NA Hondas are just silly.

Dude, go with ls/vtec and boost that shit, but even if you dont boost it , ls/vtec in a rex will smash 'burnout:

i dont know about that the gsr block is stronger a little less torque off the line but over all i think its the better way to go. or ls boosted would be sick too if its a low budget car. if i was you though and i was planning not to boost it i would go h22a in the rex then youd be a man (aaron i'll smash when you gettin your motor?)

yeah thats the logical answer, that heavy of a motor in a crx, youll handle wonderfully. Unless you only care about haulin ass. Go with the gsr and turbo that. There isnt too much aftermarket upgrades for the h22 compared to a B18c or B16a.

go with the gsr, then down the road if you choose to go turbo then you will have a good base to go from. thats what I did. :)

I had a GSR in a 88 HF CRX before and it was fun. But spending 3200 on it sucked. Now I have a frind with a 89si with ls and he is boosting it here in the next few weeks and he only spent 3800 on the swap and the turbo kit so I would recomend to go with ls it be faster, much faster.

LSVTEC's are retarded... never made much sense to me.
Whatever you go with... do boost it. I myself will be doing a b16a-t... if I had the choice and could do it over again, I'd prolly go with a b18c5 but considering my budget and goals, the b16a is a perfect pocket rocket.
