me 93 cx vs wrx

crusing 2nd st in wyoming just finised swap on the hb this weekend (b16a2)

and i come up to the light behind a wrx there was some one in the other lane

and i noticed the shiney muffler on the wrx so i figgured slightly moddified

well he goes from the light at a normal pace fast enough to leave the other car behind and i pull up beside him and i am in 2nd gear at about 4500 rpm

and i look at him and we both gun it i hit vtec 5200 and i am up to 8000 almost right away the shift light hits and i hit 3rd and i am at his back bumper

we both slow down again this time i am in 1st at about 3000 we punch it and he is like 1/2 car ahead of me and i hit 2nd and again i am at his back bumper hit 3rd just behind his door we shut it down again

roll down window and thank him for the race he thanks me back syas that car is pretty fast (still looks stock have 99 blades on it and a black certifit bumper on the front )

i turn of and think to myself damn he must have more mods then a shinny muffler

i should not loose to a stock wrx but good run

and i loose so i got beat


but not bad for a 3000 hb vs how ever much the wrx cost plus light mods

oh yea and i own my car he is probally still paying on the wrx

yeah, hes going to build my harness. I was thinking about doing it last weekend into my crx, but I have a buddy that has an old school hatch that I want to put the motor in, I dont know maybe I'll put it in my rex and gut the shit out of it.

nice..i raced my buddy's 96ish hatch with gsr and obd1 conversion...pretty good race and i only have light mods..i pulled him but he was closer than i expected...

What mods have you done to the b16a2? Cause I have raced a WRX with my JDM b16 in my hatch and it was pretty close race sounded kinda like yours. All I saw was the muffler as well.

nice race, but that 30,000 dollars is evident when you try turning or stopping from high speeds, which are hard to do in the majority of swapped civics. Swapped civics are fun for little highway runs, but they don't even have any sleeper status really anymore, it's just "another" mildly quick honda. Not trying to bash, I own a civic and am thinking about a swap, just my 2 cents, haha.

I'll be nice. Good almost win man. I own my wrx too. Unfortunately, I lost my home equity to pay her off. Fortunately, mine runs 12.68 in the quarter. I do respect the hondas though. Good almost win man.

The reason you got flamed or "bash"~ed was because you made a comment about how the other guy is probably still making payments. I have the title to my swapped '92 EH3/"EG" hatchback and my 2005 Subaru WRX STi in my name, at 23 I might add (I make this point so you realize that you have no idea what someone elses finacial situation might be). Good race though (however just a downpipe and exhaust on a WRX will mop up on a B16 swapped EH), atleast you have the balls to admit a loss.
BTW, you should definatley change your signature, unless you actually can prove your car has a VIN plate with EG6 in the VIN designation. Because I personally know the owner of the only legally registered 91-95 Honda Civic SiR-II in Wyo.

I was only mildly bashing you :P and only ment, anyone with 600.00 can own a honda
where as a wrx is at least 20k
its pointless to say things ..well mine is paid for..blah blah and he's isnt.
My 95 Gran Cherokee Jeep is paid for and the guy that own that Humvee up the street ..he's isnt ..but I am sure most people would rather cruise in a Hummer vs my Jeep.

I could also say "ya well you probly still live with your mom and paid 1800.00 for it"
when 1800 on my car would get a gear ratio change or maybe a sterio system.

You bought axles from Ben I only had the motor and stuff. I now need axles, ecu, shift linkage myself I bought another shell yesterday.
