I have go a problem with my VW polo 1.4 16v 1999, When i bought the car last week it had this vibrating spinning noise coming from the clutch and eveytime i pressed down on the clutch it would stop. I changed mt clutch today and had a band new one put in as the realease bearing was gone.I can still hear the noise but this time its very hard to hear you can just about hear it if you listen out. I think it might be the gearbox bearings but it shouldnt be as the cars got a reconditioned gearbox fitted in on january. What can it be, is this a problem or something to worry abou????? Can you or anyone please help me????
