hey, how much boost is safe to run on my stock turbo. I'm running 15 psi right now.... i'm getting a bigger turbo this summer but i want to know for now. thanks!! :D

Liar. 26psi is the accepted safe limit on a stock fuel system.

my 1st gen. held @31psi for about .25 seconds then kablewy ;)

how big is your flex capacitor? If its bigger then 30 mm then I think that you would be ok at 26 psi... to keep it safe make it 24

I'd first get a wideband w/ a guage in the cockpit. Waht's the compression ratio on the pistons? How many miles on the motor?

15psi is for sies-pus I say go 30psi and hold on, also pray that your hood doesnt fly up and kill the car behind you ;)

15 psi is about all that turbo will hold.

My comment was perfectly justified. Shane has been my friend for several years and also has a 12.8 under his belt, Im sure he knows what hes doing. Theres no reason for her to post "HOW MANY PSI OF BOOST" like a n00b, she could just ask shane but she wants to be an attention whore.

I wouldnt worry about turning up that haidryer. At 18 psi that turbo is working hard, its going be so far out of its effiecency range that you probably wont see much of a perforamnce gain.
