Ok, well I have been looking at exhausts and I would like something that you can hear but is not ricey. I would prefer something resonated because I don't want any exhaust tickets. I have been looking at the Apexi World Sport 2, Greddy SP, Comptech.

I can't decide... anyone have any idea's?

The car is a 1995 Integra GSR.

Wold Sport > *

I ran world sport on my old hatch and it was quiet as hell, perhaps not even as loud as stock exhaust. And when vtec kicks yo! it still stay's deep tone, I think someone mentioned to me one time it holds 89 db an under. Not to mention it's like 2.25 all the way thru an you can run it with a test pipe, makes for good safe fun :D

Eh just remembered, I think you're boosted, from what I remember about WS is that it's pretty restrictive, not sure if you'd like your spool time with it. Dunno, sorry for not giving much help guy.

He's not boosted. And small exhausts don't always hurt spool time.

hmm, i know this chick that has a 00 si with a sebring exhaust. not to popular and has a deep low volume sound but roars when she gets on it. i relally enjoy the sound of my tsudo although it absolutely screams down the 1/4 mile. im not a huge fan of the greddy exhaust for some reason, especially the evo.

I'd go with a 3" headerback with Flowmaster tip. No cat, no resonators, no muffler.

When would a restrictive exhaust not hurt spool time?

i thought there was a performance or tech section? i could be wrong though.....

When would a restrictive exhaust not hurt spool time?

Because it's not so "restrictive" when it's spooling up... low RPM and low boost mean low exhaust emissions, and therefore less need for exhaust capacity. In fact, smaller exhausts are better suited for situations where there is less exhaust emissions because of flow velocity. So it's not really being restrictive, and the low-mid RPM flow velocity is better, therefore you get more power. Imagine that... turbo cars have to obey the same laws of physics as everyone else!

so your saying those 4 1/2" downpipes are over kill for stock blocked hondas?

I'm not... My exhaust was damaged in the accident so I have to buy a new one.

I had the world sport on my integra and loved it. It was quiet, sounded good and looked good.

Not honda specific, but something similar could be made- Mine is a 2.25" catback with a single resonator and dynomax muffler. Sounds excellent, not ricey and it was cheap. The tone is very low.

It was actually the RS, the predecessor to the WS. :D
