I live in Denver, Colorado and Im looking for a new car. I found a 1991 Eagle Talon TSI AWD turbo standard. The guy wants $1500 for it and it has 152,000 miles on it. I looked under the hood and it look pretty good, the oil and the body looked good also. I have not yet test drove it ,but I will soon. Is it worth buying the car or should I look for another one. What things should I look for when test driving it and cheking the engine. Can the motor handle upgrades right away or will I have to get it rebuild.

Good price if very thing is fine. just make a check list of thing to look at. ex.- is shifting into gear easy, compression test, vacuum leak, timming belt, etc... If all goes well buy it.
