What's up guy's? It's been awhile but check out the new ride. I picked it up on monday night and now Have 134 miles on it. I'm the only one in the state to own one according to the dealership.
2005 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner 4x2. 245hp 280lb. ft. of tourque. Comes standard with a manual 6 spd.

Give it time, I need to get some money saved up. I plan on putting some 20's or 22's on it. Those 18's just loo way to small on the truck. I can't wait for the TRD supercharger to come out for it.

I don't really need 4 wheel drive. I have the 89 accord for all my snow drifting needs!
I can't wait unitll the TRD supercharge is released for it.

They say the charger is supposed to ad just over 50 hp. but with intake and the full trd exhaust it should be 70-80hp increase, and still be under full manufacturers warranty.

Don't kill the performance with oversize wheels;that thing can already hang in the slalom with a 350Z and pull almost a .9 on the skidpad. Once the SC is on you'll kill 'em.
It is nce to see another Toy truck on the board and we both have the factory *bling* scoop which I love the look and secretly that's why I bought my Runner....shhhh,don't tell anybody tho'. :)

The Sport edition features tuned shocks and thicker anti roll bars to enhance handling;this version isn't just the 2wd version of the 4wd truck.

Oh yeah,Toyota initially drew ire from the sports car crowd claiming those numbers and several magazines have now put the truck to the test and those numbers were right on and it wasn't a factory ringer. Take that bitch up to 2nd Creek. Previous Toyota 2wd Sport models were nothing more than wheels and a dealer installed ground effects kit now they finally put a serious motor in 'em.
Maybe next you'll see a Sport Tundra with an SC'd V8 which the redesigned model will be due next year.

Quiet you! I hit 500 miles on it today and then took it straight to it's 5500 redline. Man that truck pulls hard once vvt-i kicks in at 4000rpm. I love it!
