So all you GT4 fans what % are you currently at? I just got the same the other day and had to fix my playstaion after a day since it would not read my disc, but up and running again. Currently on 3.3% completed but have not really had much time to play, can't wait for this weekend.

23% here... How much did they charge you to fix you playstation? mine takes forever to find the disc.

I did it myself, it was old and I have no warranty so just took it apart cleaned up a little in there and works like new, total cost for parts $3, just bought a eyeglass screwdriver and some cd cleaner pads, couldn't find the compressed air so just bought the pads.

My brother's PS2 was thought to be a lost cause and it wouldn't load any discs and he let it sit fir over a year and I lugged my PS2 over to his house to play NHL 2K5 all the time and finally I brought over my disc type lens cleaner and put it in his PS2 and it's worked ever since. Always try a lens cleaner first since this has now worked on three PS2 that were almost traded in for new ones.

im roughly at 32% currently one championship away from extreme events. I believe I have an 85% win ratio. Ill check tonight to make sure.

Go to the special conditions races, do the Capri Rally, second one from the top, sell the car you win and then reenter the race. Repeat until you have all the money you want. The car is worth like 275k

Or win the Japan Championship over and over. The Z's worth 312k and the races make you quite a chunk of change.

I'm at 14%, and will stay there for a bit till I finish up my licenses

true but the capri rally mentioned above only takes roughly 10 min. I have every license but special, I always have trouble with that one.

There was a guy that i talked to at EB that said if oyu get 2000 a-spec points you get a paint shop..can paint ANY cars...thats all i want but i think im like roughly 9%...buy ive got like 1,000,000 and 23 cars...only 2 of which arent fully hooked up, but im too lazy to get the other licenses...i cant stand taking 49873 hours to get 1 license when in that amount of time i could win 500K+..hehe

First buy a Mercedez Benz and fix it up to the max. I used the SL55 AMG and spent like 150,000 credits on it. Then go race all three races under Mercedez Benz events (i think it is, Lengend of the silver arrow). If you get all first places you'll win a CLK Touring car, I think the only thing you need to do to it is turbo it. Then go under European Events to Deutsche Touring Car Meisterschaft and enter the series... with the CLK Touring car supped up you can easily beat all your competition. There is 5 races you get 15,000 for each one and 75,000 championship bonus at the end. Then the main part, you win the CLK GTR race car which is worth around 750,000 credits. I 've done it couple of times and my credits are just going up like crazy. :)

I am at 34% and have about 65 cars cause I am too lazy to sell them.. I have about 1,000,000 credits and yes the Capri Rally event is the easiest to do.. It takes about 10 minutes and you get a total of like 275,000 credits for it..

I am at 20%. Not sure what win ratio is or how many cars I have. Does any body elses game screen shake when they start certain races? I have not seen any paint shop and I am over 2000.

I was dissapointed with that car..i was told that its SO FAST, the only thing special about it is the handling, the max power is like 256hp, and the gears are soooo freekin long and its a 10spd..am i just not doing something right...anyone else??

the Deutsche Touring Car Meisterschaft is by far the quickest way to make money, and you'll need it for the GT world champs (the final tournament in Professional Mode), because only a true LM car will get you 1st place, and they all cost 4.5 million. (AKA Audi R8, toyota GT-ONE, Nissan R92CP, Sauber Mercedes C 9 or whatever, etc.)

~5500 A-spec points, no paint shop. screen shakes for me too, i think its just too hard on the good ol ps2 every once in a while.

I am a little disappointed, its got SO many cars, but the likelyhood the ill end up using even 1/3 of them is very small.... they should've added more modes for racing, like PGR2

no...it will do the default...change tires to the same type you started with and fill up your gas tank
