Hey, im thinking of getting a slim fan to running push, so i get more space in my integra engine bay and also keep my ac. whats the basic guideline or rule of thumb in shopping for fans? Whats the general mounting method for universal fans? also, what would be a good cfm since i know i wont be able to fit one that is oem size in front of the radiator. tia
http://store.summitracing.com/ FLX-220B <- i was thinking something like that? btu its 2.65 inches thick, ill have to go measure stock, but i dunno how much room this will clear up. edit*

Basically most fans if you wire them one way, they push, if you flip the wires, they pull. You want to pay attention to CFM which is how much it flows and relate that to what you think you need.
Most of the cheaper fans use plastic tabs, sorta like a zip tie in theory to attach to the radiator around the channels and through the fins.

I bought mine on eBay and it did the job... supposedly flows more CFM than the stock fan but I don't know. Sure saved me a hell of a lot more space!

I got one from Pep Boys for my AC. I just picked the biggest one that would fit and it works fine.
