I don't think so, this is off of the gear on the crank. The cam gear skipped because the belt was loose and flapping.

Motor appears fine, compression and leak down are good, runs well. I'm making some changes to my setup this week, so it's a work in progress, but my EMS tuner will be tuning it tomorrow and I've got a dyno day slot on Saturday, so we'll see. I'm not pushing it too hard until after Friday, because it has some timing and idle issues now that the cam belt is tight and the crank pulley is in the right position, seeing as it was tuned with those things broken,but I think it's gonna be fine. It'll be interesting to see what it does at the drag strip next Thursday, I'll post the results.

I've seen one of those keys snap of in the crank and take a chunk out of the nose when it snapped...whole crank was ruined because of that damn thing
