well if you got the harness your good then right....
96-98=obd2a
99-?= obd2b
ecu is diff..
hey, i was thinking kinda the same thing, i want to beef up my B16 block, and i dont want to spend a load of money, and it looks like i would be able to pick up b18b internals for cheap. i am assuming the pistons wont fit, but will the rods fit?

doesnt matter where th block came from...everything electrical is operating the head anyway
match the ECU and wiring to the head you are using and you should be fine

If you're trying to put LS internals into a b16 block, you'll be in trouble. To run an LS crank in a b16 block requires custom pistons that are very short. In short, if you don't want to drop some $$$ it won't work.
Get an LS or GSR block and a GSR of b16 head.

yeah i realized that when i looked up the rod lengths online.
