CEL code 54

I just got a CEL and it gave me a code 54 which is CKF Sensor (Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor. what the hell is that mean? Is my Crankshaft ok? or is it just the sensor/circuit?
last week I just got a code 67 and now this. Damn!!! hope y'all can help.

I got that before. I ended up replacing the whole distributor.

Oops, nevermind. Mine was crankshaft position sensor.

that sensor is a OBD-II only problem. I is the sensor on the front of the crankshaft by the lower crank pulley. Check your wiring, Lots of times it comes unhooked or is left unhooked and gets chewed by the alternator belt.
