Some of the members from coloradoep3.com are holding a dyno day at dyno pro. We'd like Everyone to come. The cost to Dyno is $50 Dollars. NO Tuning is acceptable. Your 50 bucks gets you ATLEAST 3 runs....we may be able to see upwards of 5.

2. Myself
3. Patrick (BlackOut)
4. Rob (Trebor)
5. Weston (u dynoing?)
6. Rob
7. Fidel

I'm still planning to come. I wonder about the "NO Tuning is acceptable" though... The whole point of me going there is to make a few quick AFC fuel adjustments between runs to get my A/F approximately right. I'm tuning for a target A/F ratio, not maximum power, so it's quick and easy... should take less than a minute between runs.

Would a car with slight toe out be ok on a dyno? :P
She ran fine on the emissions rollers but I've never dyno'd a car before so I have no clue.

Should be fine as long as it's not an excessive amount. I'm sure they've seen non-zero toe before. I may be there with 1/8" front toe-out myself, depending on if I find the motivation to set it back to zero by the time I go down there...

are we going to be able to let time cool down in between runs? can we use the fan and some ice to cool down the piping and Intake manifold?

I would like to participate in this as well. I haven't had a chance to dyno my car after the bigger injectors and emanage install...
I want to see if I am still the notorious "18:1 AFR cavalier" :) :Peace:

Damnit, David... you should have come.
I did 236.5 whp and 226.8 torque @ 9 psi. That's 35 whp and 34 torque more than last time... the improvements made were a slightly improved downpipe, open wastegate dump tube, 2 more PSI, a 3" cat-back, and a richer A/F ratio (I sacrificed a little performance to improve road course longetivity). Obviously, the new exhaust and increased boost are what make up the vast majority of the improvement. Assuming the typical 15% drivetrain loss, it should be somewhere around 275 HP and 265 ft-lbs at the crank... just about twice what the stock numbers were. :)

There was that guy with a yellow Vette. What a weaksauce!!! he had 3 times Weston's displacement and only 1.5 times the torque
