there're couple of books on haunted places in colorado. it's in every Barnes and Noble on a stand where all mystique shit is being sold.

I think Weston needs to find that abandoned farm house he had us looking for in Kansas. I've heard of a few abandoned places, wouldn't mind check some places out, especially abandoned hospitals/etc... Anything with lots of history 'n death (no pun intended lol)

In Westminster, Betty Adams Elementary school, my friend told me that she went there when she was little and that there was a fire that killed 3 girls in the school. I thought she was just bullshitting me cause my little sister goes to that school now. Supposedly if you come late at night and knock on the front door of the school 3 times the 3 girls will show up. We went there 2 years ago we did it a couple of times but nothing happened but on our 3rd try we went there at 3 am. As soon as i open my car door the lights near the front door started flickering like crazy then i saw this bright ass orb just floating around the building,i kid you not we got scared and drove off. I even went there the next night with my video camera i just sat in my car in the dark with the camera pointed towards the front door. When i played it back i could see 2 orbs moving around the door i havent been back there since.

THat sounds like something that'll last like 20 minutes or so... The last ghost thread yall talked about the fog staying with strong winds... The answer to that is, if there is high cloud cover the fog will stay when its windy.

We've seen a hell of a lot more than fog... you just aren't guaranteed to see something everytime. I still really want to find that ranch house. I just need to drive down there in the day time to locate the road it's on...

That's what we were trying to find... the "Jewel Ranch House". I've seen good shit there, but it's been a few years and I can't remember how to get there.

My friends and i went there when we were in HS ha ha we bought a video camera and videotaped the whole shit too, we brought a crow bar to open the room that was bolted shut but we couldnt get that damn door open. Nothing too really freaky happened except when one of my friend tried to light a lighter to get more light in the room and all of a sudden the thing just flickers off.,

Canon City - Woodpecker hill(cemetery) - cold spots, many orbs, shadowy figures in the day lighted figures in the night (this was mostly used for the convicts who died of the death penalty or when they died in jail/prison all of which never got headstones just a marker saying there cell number) all of the convicts are on the west corner and then they started adding children and teenagers at the turn of the century. also you can hear small children laughing in the distance.

Canon City - Prison Museum - the prison museum used to be one of the first museums in Ca�on City in the cleaning room where the female convinces used to do laundry there are many cold spots and the smell of tobacco in some stops of the laundry room and then in cell number 19 you can see orbs in photographs taken after the female who used to be there died as well as you can hear the coughing and smell the sent of original cell member of cell number 19.

Cheyenne Canyon - Helen Hunt falls - The falls now bear her name. Her grave is up a little higher in the mountains in a place called Gold Camp Road. On the average of 5 people die around the Gold Camp area each year. If you drive through the tunnels there, something freaky ALWAYS happens. Handprints on the car, voices in the tunnels, etc.

You should have seen them in the car at one of the ghost hunts in the summer... I was the only one who wanted to get out of the car and check out the lights that were appearing in the cemetary. Of course, I was happy that I didn't do that when the ground behind us started glowing and we saw dark figures moving between that and us. :eek:

The ground 10 feet behind you starts glowing green... logically explain that. We checked out the same area on foot earlier and there was no glow and no man-made sources of lighting there, but it started glowing pretty good after we sat there for a while.

We saw plenty of lights in the distance that were pretty bizarre, but we couldn't really say they were/weren't paranormal since they were far away. Then we saw stuff that happened right in front of our faces, and we saw what we saw... it's something that's not supposed to exist, but we were staring right at it. Seeing a glimpse of something here and there isn't real convincing, but this was stuff that wasn't going anywhere... we could have reached out and touched it, if anyone had the balls to do so.

Okay, so it's time to officially try and get something planned out.

How about 3/12/2005 (Saturday) night. Let's all plan on getting some chills time in. Who all will be up for this?

I'm thinking about leaving ~9pm? So far I'm heavily thinking about that one place in Colorado springs if it's easy to get to, but otherwise, the loaded list Dave posted earlier looks like it has some interesting spots. Bring camer's and tape recorders if you got em. But don't bring the meschevious attitude as playing around with dead people's lying spots is not the wisest thing to do. :)
