I have kicker comp 15 in my rex and a huge box that weighs like 50lbs combined. I was wonder in what other kind of system could i do that would be really light.

Fiber Glass Boxes are light. Also Pricy.

My 10" setup can't weigh more than 20lbs for everything.

Go with a smaller more efficent sub. IE a 10" JL w3.

I was thinkin about somethin like a 10 or an 8 but would an 8 sound alright just by its self.

If you got a "high end" 8" sub it would sound nice. I like 10's myself.

if your interested i can get you a decent sub with a lighter magnet and build the box out of particle board rather than MDF it would probly weigh in at about 25 lbs

Some key points: 10" sub, Continuous Power Handling: 300 Watts, Sealed Enclosure Range: 0.60-0.90 cu.ft., Dual 2, 4 or 6 ohm, and you can find them for about $200. I could not locate the wieght though.
