OEM LSD VS Aftermarket LSD

Which should I go with.. a OEM LSD (H22) or should I save the money and get the regular tranny and purchase a aftermarket LSD... Help me out with all your thoughts...

That would depend on your power goals. The oem lsd will take up to around 300hp from what I've heard. If you're going with aftermarket, dont go with the cheap crap out there like OBX, Phantom Grip. Quaife is a well proven LSD. 100% no boosheet.

It's not going to be anything hard core... just a H22 with "maybe" a 75 shot of juice... maybe might just pay the other $300 and get the OEM/ LSD so that way I can save also without having to buy an aftermaret one and paying someone to install it also...

Quaife is a drop-in replacement, installs just like OEM. If you're not doing anything too extreme, an OEM Honda helical LSD will probably be fine. I run a Quaife and have no complaints other than the usual Torsen-type LSD stuff, will hunt side-side sometimes if I lane change or the road surface changes, if one wheel leaves the ground you lose traction, that's about it.

for some reason I thought torsen and helical were the same....They are all the same, I was just showing off my vocabulary. The Quaife has more little gears inside it, so it works better than the Honda LSD. At least that's how the engineers at Quaife explained it to me. I've had a number of people back that up, but I've never used the Honda LSD, just a Phantom Grip (worthless) and a Quaife.
