Well i got into an accident and i replaced my drivers door and fender.
After replacing it my car all of a sudden decided to start auto locking itself. Like when i hit unlock on my remote it waits like 2 seconds then just locks itself. I got a full door but i decided to replace the wiring harness from my old door into the new one and swapped everything over besides the window actuator, and door lock. Everything on the door works fine, just decides to lock itself.

I thought it was my alarm going crazy but the other day i pulled the wires that go into my alarm (i have the OEM one) and it still did it.

Anyone have any ideas on what it could be? I pulled the door apart and i don't see / feel any lose connections.

was your old door damaged heavily? could it be that harness you took from old door was damaged somehow?
check for connections with multimeter, not visually.

I think maybe the power door lock actuator that you did not change may be at fault. They have a switch internally that tells the alarm box if it is locked or not. You may have gotten one that is fubar or may be from a different trim level or wrong year. That is where I would start anyway.

Yeah tobi you were right, the one i got was from a V-6. The switch had 3 wires instead of the 2 for the I-4 for the lock sensor.
