Braided clutch lines.

Anybody know of a shop that can custom do braided (SS or other) clutch lines?

Finding an in-tact hydraulic transmission line (the hard line) that leads from the MC to the tranny is hard, if not impossible.

I'm wondering if I can run SS braided line from the MC all the way to the tranny.

No, they have to be custom made.

I'll be finding out. I found a couple of companies through Google last night that do offer packages for certain vehicles. I believe the Civic & Tegra were in that list. I bookmarked it....at work...so it'll be a while before I can post a link.

Contacted A A I Speed in Arvada about some custom clutch lines. I gave them 5ft of length as a guess cause I haven't recieved the Helms yet. The price would come out to 35-45$.....that's fu*#'n butter!

They'll need the following:
Line size: -3, -4...etc.
Fittings: Size, AN equivelent, brake line flared type...etc.
Length.

Use -3 for the line, I have yet to see a clutch or brake system that uses larger than that.

Werd. Gotta call Honda for the type of fittings used....and find out how long that line is.

Look in the phone, call the Aeroquip store at Fluid Power Tech. Best prices in town on fittings and lines. They are better than Summit Racing even on 90% of their inventory.
