I can get this for a little over the price of the parts. Should I buy it? That's 4/2/1 and a 4" downpipe that clears the AC. All stainless, welded by Cody of Lovefab. I currently have a Lovefab SST.

Damn, I say why not? Looks pretty fucking kick ass.

I think the cons would be that it's a giant, heavy heat-sink and that there's a lot of piping between the exhaust ports and the turbine, so slower spool and more chance for the exhaust gases to cool.

it's beatiful
DAYYUM, what kind of power would that make? i say buy it

I say its overkill. Plus the welds look shawdy. 4" isn't necessary for any 4 cylinder. Spool time would suck I would think . Turbo is too far from the engine.
i dunno, i might be having second thoughts about voting for you to get it. that thing is Fucking enormous, im thinkin it would be totally impractacle, even at the track. i dont think that thing would hit boost until super late in the rpm range.

I know nothing about this type of thing, but it looks like all SHOW and no go.

thats just ridiculous, why would you ever need something that big?

It's 4-2-1 for optimum flow, has a 4" downpipe, and clears the AC by a long ways. That's mostly why I'd consider it.

What's wrong with the Lovefab & how much does the monstrosity cost?

The SST actually works great, I squeezed 380 WHP out of a GT28RS with it. I'm thinking of going to another setup using a bigger turbo and can get the new manifold (also from Lovefab) for a few hundred as part of some other stuff I'm working on with Lovefab. I'll probably just stick with my SST.

its pretty nice, but roll down ur windows for cool air, AC is for turkeys
dude, if you can get stuff that cheap, wanna get me a mini manifold mor my b16ed eg?

After you buy a few thousand worth of stuff off of him, then maybe you can talk to him about cutting you a deal. MiniMe's are pretty cheap anyway, you won't be disappointed if you buy one. He's also making the logs again for 350 again.
dope, is the minime worth the extra though, im only thinking of pushin a max of like 15psi (after appropriate mods of courst)

A manifold with a good merge collector will let you make power more efficiently, so you can make more top end power with a smaller turbo. I make 380 WHP with a turbo that is rated at about 300 (350 at the crank). That allows me use a turbo that spools up quickly and still make good peak power, giving me much more torque at lower RPM's. I used to use a bigger turbo on a cast manifold and I made less power with more boost. Of course if you want to bolt a SC61 onto it you can make as much power as your engine can handle with any kind of manifold, but it may take until 6000-7000 RPM to spool it up.

Are there any other turbo setups that clear the AC? I was thinking of moving to Tennessee where AC isnt an option.

Tons of them, Greddy, Inlinepro, etc.
so would one of those mini mes, with like a garrett t3 with the super 60 trim be a good setup?

Never mind, it's a B16. For a stock B16 that's exactly what I'd use if I wanted a quality setup on a budget.
sweet, thanks for the info man. and if you can or want to get me a good deal on that stuff, let me know:)
i was wondering, what type of bov and wastegate should i use. i was thinkin of just getting a cheap 1g dsm bov. also maybe a tial wastegate, but they are pretty damn expensive. what do you think?

I like the TIAL WG, and you don't want to skimp there. For relatively low boost on a stock engine, I'd just use anything, I got a Blitz BOV off of ebay for $50 a while back and it worked fine until I ran 20+ PSI of boost, then I got surge. I use a HKS SSQ now and it works well for higher boost levels.

Why the hell would you be putting something like that on a car with A/C? I mean really, if your car is made for race, buy a second car that already has A/C and buy performance parts that will make your car fast, not because they allow creature comforts.

I don't like how the wg dumps into the downpipe, but the 4" DP would be absolutely awesome. Those runners are long as hell, but I bet that you'd be more than happy as long as you don't mind spinning it to 9000 (which is something that I personally think anyone considering a turbo big enough to warrant this manifold/DP should be doing already :)).

Why not.... You can have a fast as hell daily driver that has A/C. I plan on having 450+ HP but that doesnt mean I want to sacrifice comfortability! Ill be more then happy to race you with my A/C running
