1986 Buick Regal T-Type vs. 2004 Mustang Cobra
I was at the track a few days ago, because there was some type of event and the track time was free. I wanted to race a cobra, havent raced the new ones and I know a few owners who were willing to race. I really dont like racing for free anymore since racing does cost $$$ for parts so I wanted to put up about a 100-200 bucks to race one of the guys who owns a cobra. A few of them are cool, and they all said no thanks, but then some hard ass calls me out saying he will match me and put up another hundred (we met up and he had a few friends with him so I guess he had to talk shit)
We set up, and take off....it is neck and neck until I reach about 2nd gear which I start to take over....I was almost a car on him, and he started to gain some, but I beat him at about a half car length. I know I dont go much into detail, but its kinda hard when drive an automatic. It scared me I thought I was gonna be out 300 bucks, I didnt know the cobras were that fast, I know he had an exhaust system on it, but still...that thing was fucking fast! He was pissed he lost but he actually shook my hand, I thought he was gonna talk trash and give me a million excuses.
