I have a D16Y7 that has a fully built bottom end and rebuilt head. The block has Darton sleeves, Arias 8.5:1 pistons, Eagle rods, balanced crank. The motor has about 1,000 miles on it. I will be getting rid of it as a complete swap (motor, tranny, ECU, axles, shift linkage) minus distributor. Also there is a new ACT clutch and Indigo lightweight flywheel (weighs 7 3/4 LBS.) Short block was built by RS Machine and I paid $3000 for it. It all goes for $2000.00.
Mark
I forgot something. Before I pulled the motor I did a compresion test. Results = 120 PSI across the board.

You wouldn't be interested in selling just the block? I don't need the head or the ECU, or the Transmission.

The whole thing goes together. It's not a bad idea yo have a spare head or tranny layin around. most of the expense is in the block, if you just want that it goes for $2000.00, but I will throw in a head, ECU, shift linkage, axles and a tranny at no additional charge :) :)
