Welcome. I used to drive a low 13 second DSM (hence my name) but my VISA was taking a beating so I bought something a little more practical for a while but hopefully an EVO or an STi will be in my future in a couple of years but for now I'm enjoying seeing Colorado's back country. I figured if I gave up the sports car I'd at least get a truck that's actually off road capable and my Runner doesn't do too bad.

that's cool man. i once wanted to own a eagle talon tsi, but i wouldn't really trust it for daily driving, though i have a beater now. my beater is a 96 isuzu rodeo, it does it's job in the snow. and just wondering how far is littleton from the springs?

yeah the gs-r is my "starting out" platform, but two years down the road my parents are purchasing my dream car(which is a mk IV toyota supra). im going to be with them for a while so it'll be on their insurance until im 19-20. and they'll help when needed. and by the way, im 16 yrs old.(not directed at only you bungy, but bash on the age if you need to get your ego up. it seem to happen on every board)

Hahaha, it's all good. Just dont do the stupid things that some people on here do and then come online to either brag or whine about it. Heehee.

So what are your plans for the GSR? On mine, I had a coilover gc suspension on it, type r rear swaybar, apexi catback and ctr cams. It was definitely a fun car that I miss.

i'm not very sure what i have planned for the gsr. i have somebody helpimg me out to squeeze some serious power out of it, but that'll take some time. i might just go with a couple mods so i can have fun for two years then put all the money into the permanent car(supra). but i might try out that new remote turbo made by squires turbo systems. it has a claimed "no turbo lag" and has made an acura type-R run a 13.1 sec 1/4 mile @95 mph, and this was @ 4,300 ft. by the way i believe this kit was made for the integra's, i don't know if it's available for other platforms. but other mods i have in mind are tien coil overs, some sort of cat-back(don't know what brand or model yet), AEM cold air intake with the bypass valve, im thinking about going with the jdm type-r camshafts, the centerforce dual clutch, and some others are lingering in my mind. if you can, refer me to whats good for the dohc VTEC motors. thanx

LOL S-14!

I'm Andy. I currently have a 1991 SAAB 900 SPG. I am in the process of returning it to stock so I can sell it.

To replace it will be either a Saab 9-5 or a 9-3 Viggen if I can swing the cash after the tax refund.

Welcome.

LOL, im not with the cac thing man. ;) but yeah i've been into cars, mainly imports, for about five years now. i was always around people that drove imports so i have a good feel for the scene. and i help out whenever i can so i can get more experience with different motors, etc. but now im more open minded with makes and models of cars. i had to start out with the teg though because i helped a bud out with his gsr in Houston, TX, and i was amazed at how simple they are to work on. so i decided that the teg would be the starting platform. well, enough life stories, but thanx to all for the warm welcome.

We're starting to have more meets down this way. We had about 3-4 last year. But more people are living here in the south side of Denver so were having more meets with just the south peeps. Keep watching the upcoming events forums and watch for things to do.
