And as for the other DJ's on the lineup, you have AudioAddiction, which you can read about on audioaddiction.us (one of the guys is from YellowCard)... You have Chandler from the Chris & Chandler pair, rated the 2 best DJ's in the Springs. This weekend they are playing in Las Vegas. You also have Ghosh & Nitemer, which are 2 residents of Old Norsk who throw parties in Denver all the time... Shawn Mitiska is a Producer making beats for Digweed, Tiesto, etc... He's normally doing Live PA's in LA, but never has been booked in his own state. This past Wednesday at Wired Wednesdays, he rocked it as a DJ, so I am letting him close the night. Konrad & Roman played at Requiem for a Beat, and opened the night... I have the set online, check it out... I'd rate them the best Breakbeat duo the state has to offer:

Tommy B is the up-and-coming biggest DJ in Colorado right now. Over the past 2 years he has become a RDN resident, DenverUnderground Resident, and opened Maxxium Traxx as a production company, producing new Speed Garage beats being played by DJ Richard (biggest Speed Garage DJ in the world right now). He is playing the Ultra Music Festival this year. You might recognize this guy as DJ Bombay from Coloradoraves days... Lastly, Dubois Moreno also is a DJ from the Coloradoraves days, good friends with Tommy; He just got back from earning a degree in sound production. You have to check out his house sets... Great stuff!

I am friends with Nitemer and Ghosh, they are both good DJ's. People don't give the locals any respect. In many cases, they are more skilled than the headliners. The only thing that really separates the top people in my mind is production. There is only so much skill to spinning records (outside of DJ Rectangle technique,) so it has really become an issue of your ability to produce.

mmm true, there is only so much skill, but choice of what music to play is another thing. Out of alot of local talent I have seen they're music selection is bleh!, However, not all. Don't get me wrong I think its great to have the ability, everyone who is somebody started somewhere, but they just don't have acsess to the newest "hot" shit that out yet like Headliners do.
