Is there any such thing? I've heard that there are places that can somehow repair blown subs, is that true? If so, do we have any in Colorado? I have a rather expensive sub I'd like to get looked at if at all possible.
Thanks.

Yeah I know that guy, but since he had never heard of the brand of the sub I want fixed he said he can't touch it. Does "brand" actually matter?

Well, looks like some of those places outsource the repairs to soundspeakerrepair.com
I talked to the guy their and he was really helpful, pointed me to a "dropoff" location in Fort Collins so I won't have to drive my happy ass to Denver. The price is the same too, no added fees for them picking it up etc.
Thanks guys.

This Particular sub was produced 4-5 years ago and the company is based in Germany I believe, so thats a no go. But the place in Denver is fixing it for $74.00, hell of a deal..

I can find something better for $74 bucks? I already bought another new sub and I'm getting this one fixed and will try to sell it locally or on Ebay when I get it back next week.

i wouldnt repair a sub, there are too many variables to the part specifications. it's very unlikely that the repair shop has the exact part. sure they can fix the sub but it may not be to spec. if you use it in the same box it may not have the same specs as it did before.
it really depends on if they have access to the exact part.
