Well just heard that George had a little run in with a 350z on the highway (US-36). According to George, him and Harold were heading back to Harolds house to drop him off, when about 3/4 mile from the exit, a black 350z pulls along side George and then blurps the throttle.
After the 350z did that, George followed suit and started to get on the gas as well. The 350z started the race as they gunned it, but George had to slow down as there was a car in their lane. So George had to cut over to the 350z's lane and start to get on it again. By this time the Z had enough speed and rpm band to keep pulling on George. George realized that he was going 135mph when he got into the entrace to a mild turn and had to definately back off the throttle while the Z kept gunning it probably going a little north of 140 by the looks of it.
The Z slowed down after getting onto hwy 270 and George caught up. The Z didn't really wanna get any more runs in after George lined up next to the Z. So George continued on to the I-70 merge when the Z came right back up and passed. George jumped in the Z's lane and started gunning it while the Z was already going. George started to very slowly pull on the Z but had to slow down as the merge to I-70 was coming very quickly. Speeds got up probably around 130mph according to George but, had to slow down to play it safe. George and the black 350z looked to be around the same performance level.
But no conclusive runs were able to be done as the Z driver seemed intent on just gunning it. The Z merged onto I-70 definately upwards of 100mph in traffic, so that was a bit clumsy.
In the end, originally George was about to exit to drop off Harold, but by the time all the running around ended, Harold and George were about 20 miles from Harold exit.... oops!
hahaha
