View Full Version : 96 coupe H&R suspention on 92 civic HB
im thinking of buying a set of H&R full dampers off a guy who has them on his 96 civic coupe and was wondering if they would work on my car.. thanks
have a 92 civic hatchback

Yes they will work. Only diff is for the brake lines where they connect
when i changed my suspention the first time i dont remember that being a problem.... is it?? thanks

No its not going to be a problem at all. There could also be a difference in the width of the lower rear shock fitting over the lower control arm. I have noticed that swapping from 96 civic to 94 integra was different and did not work.

i heard that the rear bushing on the lowe control arm is too big and have to grind it down?? is this true

That's what I've heard as well. But if you're putting a 92 suspension on a 96, you shim the lower bushing with a washer.
