Like everyone else will surely tell you. It'll be cheaper to just buy a manual civic.

It is not cheaper to buy a manual civic, IMO. As long as you have access to a wrecked car in a junkyard or whatever. You need the pedal assy. and the slave cylinder and line it is easy, swap ecu. Then all you need to do is weld a manual sidemount on. All in all I bet around 400-600 dollars, maybe a little more depending on what tranny deal you can find. Definatley worth keeping what you have and converting. I met Tobi this weekend and he seemd like a real nice guy, you could also call Moe at speedimage and im sure he will hook you up as well, plus they have everything needed at the shop already.

If you are paying a shop to do the swap it IS cheaper to buy a manual civic. If you are doing the work yourself and have access to a car (most people dont) you can do it for under $1000. I have done a couple for customers and it is well over $1000+

Wow, I stand corrected. I have never actually paid a shop to do it. If its that much it is definatly cheaper to get another civic

how is it well over 1000 in Houston i got like 3 quotes from people that said it would only be 500 now are u saying 1000 with parts and labor.. or just labor
well got another question for all the shops out there... i can supply a new motor tranny and everything to drop the motor in and swap it over to manual...how much for labor... i would just assume drop the motor in myself but if its going to cost 1000+ to swap it over then might as well..while the tranny is out just drop a new motor....

your supplying the motor tranny..with the pedals and hose you'll
have about 550 to 600 in it all/////i can do that hole swap with trans for 950 to 1000.
