ATTN: new unmarked cop car - North Metro!!!

actually it's a crown vic, so those who react on this brand, will react on this one. But the unusual thing is the color - it's dark red/maroon. licence plate letters go something like FYB, but i'm not sure. spotted SB I-25 between thornton parkway and 84th st.
saw it a couple days ago.

I got busted by a maroon Yukon with a Yakima rack on top. The only thing out of place on it were the lights on the rear view mirrors. The lights on top were built into the rack! Gotta go to court on the 28th to see what happens!

The yukon busted me for going 100+ in a 45. I got lucky and all he gave me was a reckless driving ticket. Only 8 points. He was really pissed tho. I can spot that car everytime now tho. He is a sneaky bastard.

Yeah he gave me an 11 point ticket.... 5 counts of changing lanes without a blinker at 2 points and 1 point for following too close. I got a lawyer and he thinks i can get the whole thing down to 2 points for broken tail lights. We will see and yeah I got the ticket up there in castlerock on I25.

In lafayette there is an unmarked Orange/Red Dodge Magnum that always hangs out on 287 between lafayette and longmont. Hes almost gotten me a few times.

Yeah, theres a maroon Crown Vic in the Aurora area too. He's usually a school cop, hes around my neighborhood a lot of the time (down by Buckley and Darthmouth) cause of the middle school and elementary.

My sister said she say a Caddilac cop one time, not sure of the model she just said she though it was a normal car then it passed her then she saw the lights in the back window.

I am almost positive it was white but it was dark out so I might be wrong it was at 112th and Sheridan. It was last Summer.

explain one thing to me - every now and then in a very dense traffic i see cops pull over cars. how is it damn fucking possible to be speeding in a traffic that goes 20mph at most? or what else can you do wrong to be pulled over like that?

GOOD! There are too many people driving like they're the only ones on the road and where they're going is way more important than where I'm going. Not enough people get tickets for not signaling and following too close. Too many people drive like it's a fucking race.

i don't think that's the case. people on this board do pay attention to unmarked cars, but they also drive way better than the majority of the rest. and the majority of soccer moms and rednecks on old trucks will still drive like morons, be there thousands of unmarked cops or none.

tell me about it. i was driving south on kipling one time right by the hooters off 6th ave. this motorcycle cop was sitting right before the stop light, with his radar gun out. traffic is jammed all the way back for blocks and blocks and people are crawling at a cool 10mph. what a waste of tax payers money

yeah, i saw cops looking at a slow traffic sometimes. one hillarious episode was once, when the whole i25 was going like 75 mph with 55 being the limit, and i saw two cop cars under the bridge just looking at the traffic. and nobody gave a shit about them, although everybody could be easily ticketed for 20+ over limit!

Mario, yeah, i agree, that, plus maybe a registration long past due.. but it's pretty dangerous i think when cop is lurking amongst a very dense traffic...

I see cops on NB I-25 all the time, and I pass them going 80 - 85. They pay no mind to me. I think they are looking for the bigger ticket for the fool going 100.
