i guess that is what happens when you take a perfectly good motor and try to ruin it. what a shame, for all that effort it would have been worth several hundred bucks to someone with a bad engine that needed to be replaced.

I blew one B18B from what was apparantly an oil pump problem, but the second one has been absolutely great to me. Over a year of being turboed, a season of road racing, and plenty of other excessively hard use... I even blew my radiator at the track, badly overheated the engine and had detonation, but it's still going strong today. After all of that, all the engine needs is a $4 cam seal and a new head gasket. The symptoms of the head gasket leak are mild and are only apparent when I'm beating the crap out of it (coolant overflows the radiator, and the cooling system gets some air in it, but it doesn't overheat). Go Honda! :) I just wish they made stronger synchros for the transmissions...

there is also another vid with a crx. the punks ramp it off some crappy ramp and then they let the engine run without oil at full speed and then beat the the crap out of it with pipes and stick and cement blocks.

Why would you put ANY fluids in it other than piss or maybe barbecue sauce?
Jeez, its like they wanted it to go a long time or something.

I would've drained the oil and filled it with Aunt Jemima syrup or something close to it. Hrmmm, I wonder how long my Colt will last with something like that. I might have to try this.

No it doesn't, I've seen 302's and 350's with no oil last longer.

302's and 350's ARE engines, n00b. :p
And based on the pieces of crankshaft I removed from an 89 Prelude S I would say it takes about 90HP and a woman driver to blow a Honda engine.
