what car

as some of you might know that my brother was in a car accident about a month ago or so, and he just got his car back like 3 days ago. so 2 days ago, my brother, dad, and i went to vw and subaru dealerships and I got to drive a gti, wrx and legacy. but guess what my brother wanted??? he wanted a legacy!!!! (that pissed me off). but we did not get anything yet, the plan is that we are gonna go back to subaru and vw dealerships to make 1 last trip before we buy something. so what do you guys think? gti, jetta, passat, wrx, or legacy?

BTW. im getting my BOV from eiptuning on tuesday

Those GTs are no joke. I like em. Only problem I have w/ them, is that it's a high 20k$ car...but they felt the need to exclude a telescoping steering wheel! If it had that steering wheel...I'd already have one.

Make no mistakes though...outside of my knee hitting the steering wheel, the car is uber-comfy...and "picks em up & put's em down!" Good look'n car too!

legacy gt is supercharged right? the 1 we were looking at was just a legacy, no supercharger. i want him to get a wrx but he said wrx's were just like civics (the looks)

VW and Audi are over priced, with considerably less performance and reliability.

I'd get the WRX, the Legacy GT is nice... but a regular Legacy is slow.


the legacy gt is the same engine as the sti, but smaller turbo, injectors. It also does not have the nice 6 speed. I heard that the 5 speed is different then the wrx's but havent confirmed that.

It all depends on the torque, with less torque you want lower ratios and with more torque you want higher ratios. Unless those cars have identical engines, it's apples/oranges. If they do have identical engines, then barring an excessive weight difference the WRX will be quicker through third gear.
