Okay,
So I was on my way back from Boulder w/ Jen. I merged onto I-36 from Baseline pretty quickly because it was cold and was having a little fun with the car, anyhow when I merged @ around 75 I had come up side-by-side with some kind of car with a decently sized bullet exhaust. I couldnt really tell because I just saw it from the side for like a second before he let me into the lane and proceeded to pace me when we were at ~85mph. As we just got outta Boulder a white 3000GT comes up on the side of me out of no-where and stopped about 1 car length ahead. He had a really nice sounding exhaust and it looked like he was pacing me to see if I wanted to go. I had to merge into his lane to get around a slower car and when I did that he started to get on it so I did as well. He initially pulled ahead when he stomped on it but I ended up getting on his rear and hitting the brakes after I proceeded to do the same. So he gets in the right lane and we line up side by side and we gun it. Initially he had the jump to about 1 car length (looks like he definately had more torque) but I ended up passing him and putting on 2 car lengths by the time we ran from ~80 to 120-ish on the clear part of the road. I noticed the car that let me in originally and was pacing me was behind us as well keeping up although I was pulling on him too. The green car that let me in ended up passing me when I slowed back down after running the white 3kGT and that's when I saw his exhaust. Don't recall seeing guages or anything but it looked more like a prelude or something. But from Boulder to about the Flatiron's mall we got another few runs in between all of us. It looked like Green Car < 3kGT < Z. All the people were cool, gave a thumbs up to the guy in the 3kGT and parted ways when he was getting off. At that point he and the green car had their own little run which looked about even from my POV. It was a lot of fun, been a while since I had a litttle bit of fun on some clear roads, luckily we didn't run into any trouble with cops or anything, wasn't expecting to race in the first place lol.
