I just ordered the high res version with audio with their $40 mount... amazingly stable video, clean audio, and you can put it anywhere on the car. No more shakey camcorder footage. :)

Yup! :) I had bought a cheap wireless camera off of eBay for that purpose, but it turns out that it has trouble keeping a constant signal when used on a car. What sold me on the ChaseCam was a video that I recently saw where someone I know put it behind the right front wheel and ran a few laps at SCR. I'm still amazed at how stable the video was, and the image quality was excellent. It looks like the limiting factor will be the fact that my MiniDV camcorder interlaces the video that it records. But one day there will be affordable camcorders that don't have that limitation, and my ChaseCam will be ready... :)

And here is the 2nd Creek video that sold Weston. . . that happens to feature me and my Civic. :) :king:

The video is compressed and doesn't show the full quality... here is a still:

Unfortunately, that picture is really more like 720x240 because MiniDV camcorders interlace it (basically cuts the vertical resolution in half), but the ChaseCam itself puts out a full 480 lines.
