You should sell them to RuS. He is looking for Pirannahs (sp) but we all know how much cooler Oscars are then those. They don't just sit there.

I was thinking about it but his location said russia which makes it hard to sell fish to him.

Not in Castle Rock. They have one by Park Meadows. There is only Petsmart here and they said they wouldnt buy them. There is another fish store that said they would buy them but its in Highlands Ranch.

My dad's g/f's Oscar never hides, it's always out and about.

Sounds like a Piranha. They don't do much unless you feed them. If you want more info there is a Aquarium Forum that is also owned by 1eightT the owner of this site. Ciclid(sp) tanks are by far cooler than Piranha's IMO. I think it is aquariumforums.com. Not sure tho.

Go for the oscars. They're super badass. Oscars are a kind of cichlid. Piranhas are pretty damn boring and are much more scared then aggressive.

I dont know about a price. Just make an offer. They are like $10 each from the pet store for little ones. If you want to come take a look at them your more than welcome to. Mine never hide. They are always cruising around. I have them in a 55 gal tank right now but you could put them in a 30 gal and be fine.

iuno.. those things grow to fast.. and i dont want to get a bigger tank.. all i got is a 30. how big are they already?

Ive had them since July. They were probably about 3 inches when i got them. I understand about only buying one. I would sell you the smaller one too if you wanted. They are definately cool fish. Their teeth are in the back of their jaw so when they eat you can sometimes see the gold fishes head sticking out of their mouth still breathing.
