Damn...word travels fast! Yes, that was my car. My buddy has that Evo....runs a 12.5 on at the track.

Ok, here is the play by play. (excuses):

The first race, he staged up behind me, and didnt know that, and the flagger suddenly dropped his arms. So I didnt even race.

The second race, I burned my clutch so badly in 1st gear, that when I went to shift into 2nd gear, the clutch was still on the floor!!! So I aborted that one as well. I honestly thought I broke my clutch and would have to tow her home. (

After we let the clutch cool down for 15 mins, we did another race from a 1st gear rolll...and I pulled all the way. http://www.my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

New twin disc carbon ATS is going in with the engine rebuild. http://www.my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif I am sure we'll be doing more races in the future.

I am also practicing my drifting skills....we'll be making some kick *** videos of that shorlty.

Nah this is a different guy, Michael (blue custom TT'd Z) hasn't posted up anything new in a long time. Gq runs the Greddy TT, and just upped the boost to 8.5 over the stock 5.6ish. He's pulling timing with the emanage ignition harness as well, unlike Charles (the black 350z vs. supra's video i posted a while back). They guy was putting down over 410 whp and 6.5 psi with C16. Crazy bastid.

Sounds like ricer excuses to me. He obviously can't drive the car from a stop so he made those excuses, a clutch just doesn't "not work" and then start working again. He can't even control the wheelspin from a roll. Pussy.

considering how much he payed in the TT setup alone, I'd think buying a beefier clutch wouldnt be that much of an expense... hmmm

judging by how he was pulling, I'd think his car cold catch up and overtake the evo if they started from a stop regardless... VQ powah :cool:

Yes, most people dyno at the rear tires, they don't pull the motor, tranny, harness to dyno it an the reinstall it all.
