Is there anyone in the Golden area who uses comcast?
Since last night we have been having huge problems with our service. The connection will work fine for a small ammount of time (like 1-2 mins) then not work at all. While it's working the pings and bandwith are in very valid ranges, so it's not like it's just slow... it's just an all or nothing.
We first saw it right night, shortly after I noticed that a rogue DHCP server was on the network handing out addresses. The traffic is so spiky that it looks like someone may have something setup very very wrong (like a router pluged in backwards) or some system that was hacked/infected and is now sending out tons of spam or performing a DoS.
I called comcast and they didn't know anything about the problem, but agreed that there was one.
I'm just curious if anyone who is on our same collision domain is having the same problems.
