would it be a fair trade to give a 89 crx dx with a b16 for a 94 civic si pretty much stock..? my car is pretty much stock besides the motor. fair or not?

I wouldn't do it. Too many of the people I've seen do builds and swaps take too many shortcuts. And it could be something that you might not notice until it starts snapping axles every month because the engine sits at a little bit of an angle. Anything worth doing is worth doing yourself or at least worth paying a serious professional a significant amount of money to do it right. If anything is done half-assed on my car, I want to be the person who did it that way.

I'd say if the Si is in good shape they are similar valued. Just depends on your preference and what you wanna do. I don't think it would be really lopsided either way.

I have no opinion, I would have to see both cars to make that call. If neither had serious problems it should be a even trade.
