how do i put vinyl on my car without fucking it up?

I think you can use soapy water and then squeegy it out. Sort of like window tint.

You dont want to use soap to apply a fake tatoo, but pretty much the same idea.

but i leave the surface of the car dry, and then put water on the back side. correct?

ok, i got it. i was kinda opposed to vinyl but my local shop gave me a bunch of shit because of my JL audio setup. so i figured i could try it, and i could always take it off if i didnt like it

make sure both surfaces are real wet and slippery!
