I wanna know if it is possible to put in a remote start in my 5sp integra.
i tried best buy and other places and they wouldnt do it. they said it was illegal and unsafe. is there anywhere or anyone who will do this type of work.
does anyone have a remote start in there car right now? thanks for the help

We had a alarm installed and they wouldnt do the remote start part of it. So we hooked that part up our selves. Its pretty easy. Just make sure you wire up saftey switches.

We thought about putting microswitches on the shiftlinkage so it couldnt start in gear, but didnt care since no one else drives the car.

ive done several and wired in a safty switch so it cant start while in gear

preludeshfan....will you put in my remote start on my 5 speed integra? And how much for the install? Or direct me to a place or person that will do this.

Yeah I am intrested as well. All the relay packs are there as well to do the remote start.

Edit: Alarm is already installed just needs to be wired in.

how about you guys give me a call. i dont get to the board every day and i hate typing back and forth. i would rather talk to you, understand the situation i have at hand and then figure out how to solve the problem.

yeah, kevin did the remote start on my car. it was cool.
