Comparitively we are North, but I'd say we are much like Colorado at the time, not as populated and kind of neutral.

Of course! I was thinking we could have the group meet up somewhere again, and all cruise down the highway to Castle Rock - pick up Dave and anyone else in Castle Rock, and follow Dave to Monument. Last time we met at Toys R Us and it didn't work out so well - the parking lot was packed, and parts of the group got separated by the 2 second stop light. Sooo....anyone up for meeting at Chipolte on I-25 & Lincoln? At 12:00?

On a side note for those that made the last castle rock trip, I had a video tape, but the battery went dead. The tape on the way down was kind of crappy. Blurry, very bouncy and unstable, there was some good footage of like 3 of the cars, but other than that the tape was crap. We will have it adjusted this time, and we will make sure that we have the battery life. SO please show up, cause we could have a great tape.

The meet will probably end when lunch is over. There really isn't a set time for it to end. If people have to leave in order to go places, no grudges will be held.

Had a good time for the small amount of time I was there. Nice meeting everyone I met at Rosie's. (I was the guy in the beenie with the pirate shirt and 2000 subaru impreza 2.5rs).

Formal apology to all those who got stuck behind me for about a minute at that stop sign when I stalled my car. ;UgH: I feel like a real asshat about that.

On another note, once I turned around to head back to colorado springs from 470, there were at least 3 state troopers back on northbound I-25 setting up speed traps. I guess they didn't like the 100mph caravan weeving through traffic. :cool:

We took over 5 booths and 1 table. The parking lot was packed full of our cars.

Yeah, I was only there for the very end of the meet and I just took a few quick pictures on the way into Rosie's, and then a couple more on the way out.

So I didn't get much variety.

It was a great meet! The Evos dominated once again! Wooo hooo!! I'll never forget the look on the poor kid's face at the diner.

"How many in your party?"
"20 or so"
*Dumbfounded look*
"Seriously - it's a car club"
"Oh.....wow....um....ok....."
*He goes to another girl, tells her of the invasion who then replies with the same dumbfounded look. They looked out the window and saw all the cars in their parking lot and the dollar signs appeared in their eyes. They come back to me and say "Ok, give us a minute. Do you want one table?"
"No, you can spread us out between the booths along that corner"

I think they are still talking about us today! LOL

Oh yes....and what's the deal about Kevin's tailpipe fetish???? I don't wanna know......

Thank you to everyone who made it. That was a great meet. Yes Evo's dominated once again, but I enjoyed all the vehicles. I really liked the s/c S2000. That was nice. Of course the STI's sound mean and I liked that. The Z was very pretty.

Thanks again, and lets try this again, sometime in January. I will post some more pictures on EvoM.net. I have some on ther now, but more will be coming over the next week or so. Also. I will post Video's if I can get it to work.

Nice cars and all,

but when I see those pics I can't help not to compare them to the goth crowds and how they make no sense. If you asked the owners of those cars why they modify them they'd probably say "it's to be different" or maybe even throw out the word "custom" yet I think those cars ALL LOOK THE FUCKING SAME!!

The waittress came up to the table I was at at one point to do refills on drinks, and she said:
"So what are you all here for? Just friends?"
I think Leo replied "We're here for excessive speed."

Leo elaborates, "seen all of the cars outside?"
she replies "Nope" and still just looks sort of confused and walked away.

Just so you know I am going to try and plan another drive sometime in January. I will keep everyone posted. I like these drives. Maybe next time we will head to silverthorne. It is about an hour drive, but what great scenery and great fun that would be.
