is this really going to be what is called "rave"?
Everyone I spoke with in regards to the Nov 13th one said they felt something there that has been lacking from the "scene" for a long time... An old school warehouse feel, an openness to anyone to be a part of the fun, and sickness beats going until 5am.
The classification of 'Rave' is usually anything that lasts longer than a 2am cutoff at a club... This is going till 5am, and if you were at the last one, you'd know it was still PACKED at 5am when the lights came on... NUTZ!!!

i'm just asking cause i have never been on such event, but always wanted to check something like this out. but i was under impression that rave era ended before i came to US. it's good to know that I still can get a taste of it.
:) You can get a 'taste' but keep in mind, these events come complete with restrooms, full service bars, and actual seating areas ;)

That sounds like a lot of fun... too bad I won't be there yet. :( Did a lot of you guys go to the last one? Do they do it often... I'd like to check it out.

Hahah, exactly. This is a monthly event, so 1x per month we have one... I went to the last one. It had 650 people there. It was awesome :)

since this is a monthly event, does that mean your going to make a thread like this every month?
and since this is mostly a car board, and i don't think anyone went to the last event, yet you insist on promoting this venue. shouldn't you or ryan dykstra be paying to become a site sponsor? it's one thing to let people know of something happening, but it's totally different to stay on this site only to promote it

Even though it is mostly a car board, I know of at least 20 people from local "car boards" that showed up to the last one, and can't wait for the next one. This isn't promoting the 'venue' but promoting the event itself. I care less about the venue, but I think it's a good idea for people to hang out together :)
I don't agree with the site sponsor program as because you have stated, I see no return on investment if none of you show up :) If you show up to support, maybe I will in return help support the cause.
I am only letting people know of the event in the events section, you don't see me spamming your board in any other section. If I were to want to talk about something else, then I would find the respective forum and post in it.
