Today while tuning my paintball gun i shot myself at point blank range. I was tuning it to shoot at 300fps and i went inside to adjust something. But i was distracted by my dog. I removed the hopper, turned off the air and went to fire the gun to release the air in the lines. So i cupped my hand over the barrel.... BAM! Well i had forgot that i had a paintball in the chamber still. My hand went numb instantly! A sharp paint went up my arm into my shoulder. I looked down and paint was everywhere. I immediately grabbed a towel to wipe it off. Ran my hand under ice cold water and put ice on it. How it did not break skin, i don't know. It still feels funny now. I have no strength in my hand.

BULL SHIT you made the chrono beep. and the chrono scream! and the chrono only screams if its over 400 otherwise it beeps if its over 250 the recomended playing speed.

The chrono screams at 250+ nub... Getting a gun to shoot at 400+ fps is VERY hard and im sure as hell my tippmann couldnt do it.. btw... my shots PEAKED at 350... I shot 5 balls and they all were at diffrent speeds.. one was as low at 230...
i'd say on average they shot around 300...

The chrono cant scream... it can beep at anything over the set limit... they have it set at 260 (i belive might be a little higher) there is no two stage warning... and I would love to see you get my tippmann to shoot higher then 400 fps.. last time I turned it up all the way at Paint Ball Adventures (just bought gun didnt know which way was down or up) I only managed to shoot at highest 392... That was before the barrel so I dought my gun will shoot over 385 now..

The only reason my gun was set higher then the limit is because my tank warmed up and the pressure increased.... quit your bitching ashton, its just a paintball... its old news... get on with life...

311 fps is enough to break the skin from the range we were at... so dont even try to tell me that I was shooting 411fps... you wouldn't have had any skin left in the area I shot you. Maybe you should wear more then a short sleeve shirt next time we go??

I did chrono when I walked in and no the reason I chrono'ed was because I was curious how fast I was shooting... The guy never bled thru his pants your thinkin of someone else.. I never shot anyone in the leg. I chronoed several times... Once at the begining and once the round thereafter... I was still shooting around 250 on the round after the first one.. I assumed I was ok but the feet per second did increase pretty significantly but nowhere near 411 fps... I never hit anyone in the leg... if I did it sure as hell wasn't bleeding... I chronoed everytime I got shot... I kept turning my velocity screw down and down everytime I came in... Now.. I have an idea... why don't we try to get my tippmann to shoot 400fps.... I guarantee you will fail significantly.

BTW.... If I remember correctly you HAVE to chrono to get onto the field for the first round... I know he made me chrono.

those field chrono's beep anytime you are over 300. it doens't matter if you are 301 or 400 you are still shooting too hot.

Not seeing that he had been shot I see something come out of the bunker so I shoot 1 ball and it nails him right in the hand... then he charged me in a pissed off rage because I had already shot him... so I shot him a couple more times (10 balls) to be exact.. and 3 of them hit the hand... talked with him after the game... when he apoligized and his hand was bleeding in 4 different spots...
