so half life 2 came out today anyone play it yet? i just picked up a copy but i havent gotten a chance to play it yet... post up your thoughts.

I heard it was much better than Halo 2, which I heard was somewhat of a disappointment. But that was only what I heard, and only from one person so far.

Valve is a piece of shit because they ban people who don't hack. I had winamp running and they said i was using some random hack. Those fuckers, good thing I know the passwords to certain LAN centers so I just use their accounts :).
Oh yeah, valve is slow too.

If you like cheats and exploits. I may pick it up once they actually get things working like they should..far too many other games to play in the mean time.

^-- all of them need to be played out before HL2..sooooo...I think WoW is the biggest problem with that. :)

They suck because of their incompetence in writing certain pieces of software (ie steam), because they can take a simple program, work on it for over a year, and rease something that is very buggy (ie steam), and because they care only about making money and nothing about the customer.
FYI I have purchased every game I play (and many I don't play, some of them (ie warcraft 3 and starcraft i've bought multiple times). There is not a game on my system that I didn't pay for. It's easier for me to work and make the relativly small ammount of money it takes to buy the game than it is to try and find a version for free online.
I really don't like people that steal games and other software. Most of it is not that expensive. Just go out and get yourself an education so you can have a job where $50 isn't a lot of money.
You didn't pay for Tribes the second or third time you got it.

I've bought 3 copies of Tribes 2. It's easy when it's only $19.
Plus when the company lets you download it for free than it's ok to do that instead of buying it.

You suck at finding good servers.
I used to download all my games because I was a high school student that didn't want to pay for anything. But now I have a job and it's really not that hard to buy a game. I have so many stupid games that I shouldn't have bought but oh well.
Oh, for the record I bought Starcraft about 4 times because the CDs kept on getting scratched. I have like 3 unused CD keys laying around because of it.

Ha! I had a broodwars cd brake on me in the cd drive. I guess it was spinning so much that the stress eventually got to it and it cracked in half/shattered inside the drive.

Ive played Halo 2 and Killzone.
I was abit dissapointed in both actually.Halo looks nice but theres no run button.
Killzone was actually a blast play but it lasted for only a weekend.I beat it in 2 days.Replay factor s ok but the extras suck.
Im looking forward to half life 2 for the consoles.
For now im going to be playing Metal Gear 3 and Need for speed underground 2.
