So about two weeks ago i got my transmission fully replaced from nissan due to it being a factory defective transmission... this is the second time it has had to be fixed. the axle had been in before for making a clicking noise they tightened it... the seat is coming apart that is soon to be replaced.... and NOW after being on there lift for two days my suspension makes a WEIRD noise like popping when stopping... so i have to take the damn thing in tomorrow to have the suspension checked out. Also the fucking car does not go into reverse when the transmission is cold... thus i will have them look at this also.

NO ONE BUY A FUCKING 350 UNTIL THEY GET SOME SORT OF QUALITY CONTROL.

ugh car ideas?

Also I would like to add that the guys at Boulder Nissan are awesome, brent especially he always gets my shit fixed in a timely fashion.

That's my suggestion. I'll bet many of your problems are from the way you drive the thing. In my experience, Nissans are very reliable even when beaten on. My dad gave my brother his truck at 130k (my dad put on 110k miles), and my brother beats on it and the only replacement we've needed beyond neccesary stuff is the alternator. It's got 160k on it now.

Are you kidding me? Justin has already had all the work done to his car.. hes had his transmission and a plethora of other shit replaced...

IIRC, Justin had to have some warranty work done on his transmission to. Maybe it was something else tho.

^LOL

The 1st batch of Z's have definatley had their issues and there has been a lot of TSB's released on Nissan's part. The warranty work doesnt bother me because Nissan has replaced all the stuff after I did a ton of bolt on mods without giving me any kind of pushback or hassles. As far as I know of the late '04's and '05's don't have any issues at all. Just the '03's and early '04's. Regardless I love the car and keeping it to make it into a monster. New car's have their issues and mine was no exception but I'm in it for the car regarless of the issues  I've had:

*Tranny replaced (rev. 8 is what i have)
*Clutch pedal assembly replaced
*Shifter assembly replaced (I was drunk and drove it and ended up breaking the
assembly from shifting too hard)
*Driver's side rear half shaft replaced
*Passenger side pulley tensior replaced after it feel off while taking a corner at 60 (lost power steering at that point, sure as hell had me on the edge of my seat lol)
*Drivers side window motor replaced because it took a dump

Ashton if you don't want a car to break:
A) Drive it nice and do oil changes and all preventative maintenence
B) Don't mod it
C) Get your Accord back and sell the Z

If you are into driving a car hard and modding it be prepared to learn to work on your car or shell out the cash to have someone else fix what breaks. Your tranny needed work on it twice? Please. I've had at least 4 different tranny problems. And I don't get a dealer to bitch at and do the work under warranty for free.

If it makes you feel any better, just think about how bad David's transmission is going to blow up when he installs that OBX LSD...

So? I see a bunch of little shit you can get replaced for free.

Weston

All of those are just a bunch of minor annoyances, and many of them are only for the Roadster model. Look up a Ford Focus or something... "engine catches fire" is a problem, "Pop or Tick Noise from Front Door Window Glass" is not.

we never sold the honda. AND yeahhhhh engine catching fire would be a lawsuit lol.
