hey Tobi, it seems like I am constantly having to re-gap my plugs... I'll gap them to 1.1mm, then maybe a month later (less then 2000 miles) the car will start missing under load/boost. I pull the plugs, they look fine, but the gap is almost 2 mm. I regap them, and start all over. they are NGK plugs, don't have the numbers in front of me, but they are the same as recommended OE. I know I should probably go a heat range or two colder, but will this fix my problem? Or is this a sign of another problem somewhere? Funny thing is, when I'm checking them out the center electrode still has the little groove in the tip, doesn't look wore down, and the ground is still pretty square (doesn't look grooved or anything).

95 civic ex d16z w/ greddy turbo, greddy "blue box" piggyback fmu, crane Hi6 w/ crane coil, MSD ext coil distro cap, and shitty Neuspeed plug wires (don't ask....)

thanks

Jory

1.1 is probably too wide, Try it closer to about .8 and a step colder. Without seeing the plugs before and after and the color I wouldnt be able to really tell what is going on there.

I'll try that... 1.1 is OE. The color looks about right, I'll try to get a pic. the electrode and ground are white with a hint of red/brown... there is a little black soot around the ceramic, but I'm pretty sure its running on the rich side, paticularly when the gap jumps way high and it starts stuttering and missing.

thanks for the info. I will pull them, take pics, regap them, and try again... stupid addiction to boost.....

Let me know how it goes, Id like to look at the plugs too. See if you can get a good macro shot of them.
