i just recently bought a 1991 nissan 240sx and was wondering if you had to have any rear clips or anything like that to do a taillight conversion?

You can just buy the taillights. You don't need a clip to get them. They are usually around $500. jspec (http://www.jspec.com/kouk180taill.html) Sometimes you can get a really good deal if you get in on a group buy on them.

but they will just bolt in with no parts needed(except a few nuts and bolts)?

they should, you should have the tailights (duh), center piece and the bottom piece (i have no idea what its called). 4 pieces total

you need a new keyhole thing for your trunk meaning you'll need a new set of keys w/it.=ignition and door
