Ok..so normally I'll just tell my co-workers and roomie about dumbass drivers in this area..because they are all over the place. But this story..too good not to share! :)
Soo..I was leaving my store to go home for lunch..so going from Flatirons Circle onto highway 36...dual lane onramp right? Anyway, I'm in the left lane..and anyone familiar with that area..knows that there is a BIG sign..(or 2) that says the right lane must yield/merge to the left..so whatever.
Anyway..I'm about 2/3 of the way up that hill..and this mazda is slightly behind me..and I hear him get on it..well by the time he caught up..(the mazda p/u was slower than my del Sol even..if you can believe it) we were OUT of lane..now instead of just slowing down and getting behind me, he stays in it..and I'm like..ok whatever this d00d is going to cut me off or some other assclown move. Anyway, I was behind this big white suburban..and apparently that guy wasnt going fast enuf for mr race truck mazda either..and he passes him as well..ON THE SHOULDER. I'm like..ASS!!! Cause he threw gravel and shit all over my car..I was a little bent.
So..I decide I'm going to get behind this guy and have some words if I get the chance..pass the suburban..and see a cop like 2 cars back in the passing lane..and I was like.."oh damn" and so mr racetruck is swerving in and out of traffic..and cuts like 3 other people off...and the cop has seen this whole bit and steps on it to catch this clown. Well then he decides to be REAL sly..(I think he saw the cop) and cuts both lanes to get onto the Broomfield exit..and the cop just OWNED traffic..and got right behind him..(after I yielded/slowed to let her in of course :) )
Anyway..so I'm side by side next to asshat in his truck at the top of the exit going to 287..cop like 6" behind his bumper..the guy wouldnt even look at me..so I started yelling (he had his window down) I was like.."HEY ASSHOLE!!! YOU ARE FUCKED NOW!!!" and he still wasnt looking over..so anyway, once the light turns green, cherries and blueberries start flashing and the cop looked over at me a shot me a big smile..it was pretty classy..she prolly saw the whole thing.
Best part was..it was a Broomfield police officer..so if he would have stayed on the highway, he MIGHT have got away..but since he decided to exit into this city..I'm sure he got fucked. :)
I counted...passing on shoulder, unsafe passing, speeding, and impropper lane change against him...hell maybe even trying to evade a police officer..but she didnt have her lights on at that point, so I doubt she'll hit him with that...but damn. It really made my day to see some road rage asshat get owned like that. :)
