I have just purchased a 1990 300zx 2+2 that is N/A. I am looking to upgrade the performance a little and I know the route to go. THe question I have is there are dual intakes for turbo models, would they work on a N/A car? I have no intenetion of doing a turbo install on this car. I just want to get it up in the HP area without much hassle or $$.

No, because there is only one intake manifold on both cars, but on the turbo car, the air is coming into the turbochargers. So "no," it will not work.

ok.. i guess i am confused. when I look at the engine there are two pipes that are connected to the engine then meet up under the front behind the bumper. that is the intake right?

Yes, and the 300ZX has two intake manifolds, but I don't think a dual intake setup would do much. Maybe a nice Cold Air setup.

I would if I could afford it. But for now I will go for n/a upgrades. It's a fun drive and it looks great for it's age.

PSI where are you located?
