Hey Tobi its Steve, (flywheel & clutch job) wanted to thank you for the thanks you card and stickers, just more praises to good work and the small business! Had a few questions though. Finally getting a Turbo kit for the D17. (2003 Civic EX) Not a whole lot out there for my car but I am doing what I can...when I do install it all I wanted to know what I should do to further tune the kit for the car at 7psi of boost. It is a T3/04 hybrid turbo (externally wastegated) and I will have the Vortech FMU and the Walbro inline fuel pump (255lph) for the needed fuel demand. I plan on getting the RSX injectors (320ccs) and the AEM fuel rail as soon as I can. For now as well I was getting a wide band A/F gauge to tune out the fuel ratio. Anything else I need to do with what I have or will I NEED to get something like Greddy E-manage and etc. to truly control all this? Thanks for putting up with my inexperience and anything please tell me....

For your car an E-manage or a SAFC-II would do the trick.

Thats what I was afraid of hearing, my wife is already mad this much went into the car at one shot but then that I cannot run all this until I get a control unit, lol. Oh yeah, I'm dead now. Ok. Well I know Greddy emange is or can be expensive, (thus any smart man goes to ebay, lol) but what is the Profec E-01 is that only a boost controller or does it replace E-manage? Otherwise I know until Hondata finishes the new ECU for my D17 (85% done I hear from them) Emanage is the only thing then I should need to control the timing and datalogging and fuel control? ....god I hope so, cause yeah getting all of this an dnot being able to hook it up because of just that is frustrating lol, to say the least, this boosting is so expensive fast lol. Ok well thanks for anymore advise Tobi, sorry I rattled on...laters

profec is a boost controller. Stick with the e-manage.

ok, after this is all hooked up I have all the jump points and rotary settings, and I was gonna go with the stock RSX injectors (320ccs) is it true as a rule of thumb that timing is retarded 1 degree for ever psi of boost, also considering we are 6k feet ASL. THANKS AGAIN TOBI!

1 degree for every pound of boost is VERY conservative if not overkill on a low boost app. If you run 91 octane all the time you will be good with .75 degrees per lb.

Thanks Tobi, (I love you man! lol) I will keep you up to date. I'm getting the kit here Friday only to send it out again to get the whole kit coated inside and out by Calico coatings. Emanage is on the way, but I still have to buy the Profec E01 to control it all. Thank you so much though, I prolly will have more to ask lol. Laters...
