My father wants me to pick out some new tires for his 98' Grand Cherokee. He currently has 235/70/15 but would like something just a little bigger.

Since I know squat about truck tires what would be a good size to look for?

Get the same as me but a size down
BFGoodrich All Terrain 31x10.5's would look sweet.

On a Grand Cherokee don't go over a 30" tire with a stock suspension, it'll rub like crazy. A 255/70 would probably be perfect for him.

I'm guessing ryan knows since he has one but you can always call a couple discount tires and get opinions, usually they will know what sizes people use for certain looks and the usually know what sizes fit stock trim vehicles.

Usually. There are jackasses everywhere, that is why I said to call a couple and you should get a couple opinions.

My Wrangler can fit 31x10.5 stock.

Your best bet would be to call 4 wheel parts, they'll tell you what to get.
